Beating the Blockade "With a Little Help from My Friends"

Never in his wildest dreams did Robert imagine that someday he would need to raise funds for himself, especially today, in a post-war and blockaded Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) where he lives along with thousands of people who are in need. However, Robert's lifetime dream to continue his music education abroad is around the corner, and if he doesn't achieve it now, he may never have the same opportunity.

Robert has recently been accepted into 3 different music schools in Europe (The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark, The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) in London, UK, and The University of Wales in Cardiff, UK) with unconditional offers. He has chosen the Master's Program of the University of South Wales (Cardiff, UK) in Songwriting and Production, which offered him a small scholarship of £2000. Since the entire 1-year program will cost £14950, Robert is now responsible for the remainder of £12950, plus living expenses for at least 9 months (£9207), hence this fundraiser and the call to assist him.

A little about Robert's musical journey: he picked up his first guitar at the age of 16, later than most musicians. But a few years later, graduated from Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan (2016-2020), where he studied jazz guitar. Robert has also been writing music and currently works at the Artsakh State Jazz Orchestra. He hopes to learn as much as he can during this time in the UK, record music and serve his country through art and by being a good role model for his fellow young musicians.

Robert believes that his music and education will help him and others overcome challenges... and as he said himself "I believe that as The Beatles sang, everything is possible 'With a Little Help from My Friends'."

Ռոբերտը առաջին անգամ իր ձեռքը վերցրեց կիթառը 16 տարեկան հասակում։ 20 տարեկանում նա արդեն նվագում էր երևանյան ջազ փառատոնում։ Ընդունվել և գերազանցությամբ ավարտել է Երևանի Կոմիտասի անվան պետական կոնսերվատորիան: Աշխատում է Արցախի պետական ջազ նվագախմբում:

Արցախի բլոկադայի պայմաններում , ուսումը շարունակելու նպատակով նա մագիստրատուրայի համար պատրաստվել, դիմել և ընդունվել էր արտասահմանյան 3 երաժշտական համալսարաններ, որոնցից ընտրել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայում գտնվող հարավային Ուելսի համալսարան՝ University of South Wales (MA Songwriting and Production), որտեղից նաև ստացել է £2000 կրթաթոշակ։

Տվյալ համալսարանի ուսումն արժե £12950, իչպես նաև կեցության համար անհրաժեշտ է £9207 գումար։ Ռոբերտը ունի մեր բոլորի օգնության կարիքը, անցնելով հղումով Դուք կարող եք օգնել Արցախցի մեր տաղանդավոր ընկերոջը գնալ իր երազանքի հետևից․ սովորել, փորձ հավաքել, ստեղծագործել և լսելի դարձնել Արցախի ձայնն ամբողջ աշխարհում։
