I’ve been accepted to study a Master’s in Sustainable Chemistry, with the aim of contributing to real environmental change. My tuition is mostly covered, but I’m seeking support to help cover the essential living and study costs that will allow me to take on this opportunity fully.

My first goal of £3.5k is to cover the tuition fee shortfall and get started, but ideally I’d love to raise closer to £8,000-£10,000 to fully cover the year.

About Me

Hello, I’m Olivia, an artist based in the UK with a longstanding interest in the natural world and sustainable living. My creative work centres around printmaking, often featuring detailed images of animals, buildings and the environments they inhabit.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I studied Chemistry at the University of Bath, where I received a First Class degree. I am now returning to science with a renewed sense of purpose, having been accepted to study a Master’s in Sustainable Chemistry at University College London.

This decision is driven by a desire to make a real difference. I am deeply concerned about the environmental challenges we face, and I want to contribute in a meaningful, practical way. From developing safer alternatives to plastics and dyes, to reducing industrial waste, sustainable chemistry offers powerful tools for building a more responsible future.

My tuition will be largely covered through a student loan and personal savings, but because my place was confirmed late in the cycle, I missed the deadlines for most scholarship and funding opportunities. I am now turning to this community for help covering the cost of living and essential study materials during the year ahead.
