From Ards to Barcelona — Help Us Get Our Girls There!

In 2025, the Ards girls’ rugby journey was just beginning. As more girls came along, bringing with them enthusiasm, energy and a real love for the game, something very special started to grow.

What began with a small group quickly developed into a team full of friendship, determination and a passion for rugby. And from there, the rest is history!

Fast forward just one season and look at what these girls have created. We now have standalone U12, U14 and U16 girls’ sides, ready to take on everything the new season has to offer.

Last season saw our girls reach semi-finals and finals, with plenty of hard-fought games, new friendships, huge improvements and moments they’ll remember for years to come. But this season, the sky really is the limit!

And waiting at the end of their season is something very special…

BARCELONA! ☀️

This tour is about so much more than rugby. It’s a chance to celebrate these girls and everything they have achieved, and to thank them for the dedication, commitment and hard work they put in both on and off the pitch.

It’s also a fantastic opportunity for them to travel abroad, experience rugby in a different country, take on Spanish counterparts and, most importantly, make friendships and memories that will last long after the final whistle.

But getting a group of girls to Barcelona takes a lot of fundraising!

So we’re asking our amazing family, friends, supporters and local community to help us make this dream a reality. Every donation, big or small, will bring us one step closer to getting these girls on that plane ✈️
