From Animation to Cartoonist for Blog writers!
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and supporters,
I'm writing to you today to ask for your help in raising funds for my ComicBlogs business. As you may know, for 26 years, I've been working hard to create high-quality storyboards and illustrations for animation studios that bring joy and entertainment to TV and Online audiences.
However, creating great content requires a lot of tools and expenses. From digital drawing tablets to software licenses, web hosting fees, and promotional expenses, the costs of running a successful blog comics business can add up quickly.
That's why I'm launching this fundraiser to raise $15,000 to cover the expenses of running my ComicBlogs business. With your support, I can continue to create engaging comic strips for Blog writers and illustrations that bring a smile to your face.
As an incentive for your support, if you donate $150 or more, I'll draw your digital portrait from a photo of your choice and do my best to send it to you within two weeks of the donation date. This is a great opportunity to get personalized artwork created by a professional artist, while also supporting my business.
Your donation will go towards the following expenses:
1. Tools and Equipment: I need to purchase a new computer, digital drawing tablet, software licenses, and other equipment that will help me create better comics and illustrations.
2. Web Hosting Fees: Running a blog requires web hosting, which comes with a monthly cost. With your support, I can continue to host my blog comics business online and reach a wider audience.
3. Promotional Expenses: In order to grow my business, I need to invest in advertising and promotional activities. This will help me reach more Blog writers and new readers.
The following is an example of the work I will be providing for Blog writers. Here is a comic strip of an actual experience I had while I visited a gas station in Los Angeles a few years back. A group of white college-aged young men pulls up to the gas pump on the other side of the gas pump that I was at. While they exit their car, they were arguing in a surprisingly Urban language that caught me off guard!
I really don't think they knew I was there.
I'm including pictures of my niece and her husband that I referenced to do a Wakandan-themed portrait of them for their anniversary.
And I did a portrait of Harrison Ford dressed as General Ross for the upcoming MCU film, The Thunderbolts.
By supporting my business, you'll be helping me continue to create high-quality comic strips and illustrations that bring joy to people's lives. Your support will also help me continue to grow my business and reach more people with my work.
Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Every dollar counts, and your support will make a huge difference in helping me achieve my goals.
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to creating more great content for you in the future.
Sincerely,
Rayfield Angrum
