Hi everyone! My name is Marlene, I’m 14 years old, and I’m raising money to help make a very special opportunity possible: a school trip to Japan!

I’ve been given the opportunity to travel to Japan through EF Educational Tours, and this would be my first time ever leaving the country and experiencing Japan. I’m incredibly excited to explore, learn about Japanese culture, see new places, try new foods, and make memories that I’ll carry with me for a lifetime.

Unfortunately, my family is currently going through some financial difficulties, which makes it hard for us to afford the monthly payments for the trip. That’s why I’m creating this fundraiser and hoping that friends, family, and anyone willing to help can give me a chance to reach this goal.

The trip itself is expected to cost around $6,019, but I’m hoping to raise $7,500. The additional funds would help cover important personal necessities while traveling, as well as allow me to bring home some small souvenirs for my family so I can share a piece of this experience with them.

Every donation, big or small, would bring me one step closer to getting on that plane. And if you aren’t able to donate, sharing my fundraiser would mean just as much to me!
