Save Batool and Alaa, a persecuted Palestinian family in Gaza, clinging to life as they endure the relentless brutality of war, displacement, and famine.
........................................
Welcome,
To a soul that sees pain and chooses not to ignore it, and to a heart that the cruelty of the world has not extinguished, but instead made more compassionate and generous.

My name is Sara, and I live in Wisconsin, USA. I’m helping Alaa and Batool raise funds. They are from Gaza, Palestine, under siege and cut off from the world.
Please take a moment to read this family’s story and consider donating, even a small amount. Together, we can help this family survive and hold on to life.

This is Alaa and Batool’s message to the world:
To every human being who carries mercy in their heart
In a world full of challenges, financial support sometimes becomes a literal lifeline.
We are a trapped and oppressed family in Gaza, living through a nightmare of war, famine, and constant displacement.
We speak to you from the depths of suffering.
We are Alaa and Batool, a small Palestinian refugee family from Rafah, in southern Gaza.
In the prime of our youth, we lived a simple, stable life, but everything collapsed when war broke out.

We now share our pain and the oppression we endure in Gaza.
We once had a modest home filled with love.
In a moment, it was all gone, bombed into rubble before our eyes.
We lost our dreams, our memories, and the sense of safety that every human deserves.
We ran for our lives under a sky full of bombs, carrying with us nothing but our terrified souls.
That moment marked the start of our journey through pain, displacement, and despair.
We found ourselves in unfamiliar places, enduring conditions that no one should face:
No real shelter. No safe space. No stability.
We moved from tent to tent, searching for safety.
But what we found instead was burning heat, freezing cold, swarms of insects, and sickness.

On May 2nd, 2025, we were displaced again, for the 8th time.
We are trapped in an endless loop of exile and loss, living in what feels like an open-air prison.
The conditions we face are unbearable:
Ongoing displacement, no clean water, no steady food supply, and a total collapse of life’s basic necessities for over 22 months.
We drink polluted water, which has caused us severe stomach infections, including Helicobacter pylori.
Alaa suffered injuries in his right hand due to bombing.
We both suffer from severe malnutrition.

Batool: A month before the war, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Multimedia & Web Development.
I was excited to begin my career.
But my workspace, my computer, and all my art equipment were destroyed under the rubble.
I have nowhere left to build my future.

Alaa: I was an art director at a respected firm. I was also a perfume maker, I created a scent called Coral that represented my personality and passion.
It launched just 3 months before the war.
I worked so hard to provide a decent life. But the war left me jobless, homeless, dreamless.

Now, every day is a battle for basic survival:
Food. Water. Medicine.
We currently live in a makeshift tent with no roof.
No protection from heat or cold.
No clean food.
No place to feel human again.
Our greatest dream now is to have a small room to call home, and one clean meal that doesn’t make us sick.

Why are we writing you this message?
We write with hearts heavy with grief, hoping that someone, somewhere, will help us survive this genocide and forced starvation.
Amid the crushing psychological and physical burden we carry, our financial situation has collapsed.
Living costs in Gaza are now among the highest in the world due to the blockade.
That’s why we launched this campaign:
To humbly ask for your help, so we can meet our most basic human needs.

Campaign Goals:
1- Financial support to access food and clean water, to survive famine.
2- Buy essential medicines and supplies to treat waterborne diseases and malnutrition.
3- Internet data to stay connected to the outside world.
4- A solar panel and power tools to charge devices and light up the tent.
5- Clothing, blankets, and cooking tools lost in the bombing.
6- Firewood for cooking, since there’s no gas or electricity.
7- A new, durable tent that offers some shelter from harsh weather.
8- Cover travel costs to leave Gaza to Egypt when the Rafah crossing opens, then to the U.S. or Europe to start over.
9- Small project funding to rebuild a life with dignity.
10- Support to rebuild our workspace, laptop, and digital art equipment.
