Hope, Healing, and a Second Chance for Nonette: Facing Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer
Dear Friends, Classmates, Batch mates, and everyone with the Kindest Hearts,
I am reaching out to you once again with a profound sense of urgency, a humble request for help, and a heart completely anchored in faith.
For those who have followed our dear friend NONETTE CASERA-TOLO’s journey since June, you know how fiercely she has been fighting. Originally diagnosed with a rare vascular condition, Nonette endured months of severe pain, rapid weight loss (dropping from 63kg to 41kg), and mounting medical stays. On July 12, she was rushed to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) ER, admitted on July 15, and underwent major bypass surgery on July 31.
After weeks in the hospital and endless tests, Nonette received news that no one is ever prepared to hear. She has been diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma, which has metastasized to her liver and bones.
Yet, even in the shadow of this heartbreaking diagnosis, Nonette’s spirit remains unbroken. She desperately wants to keep fighting. In her own words:
"I want so much to keep fighting and to be given a second chance, through the help and mercy of our LORD GOD. With all humility, I am sincerely asking and pleading for your help so that I may have a second chance and be given more time to live."
“To my family, relatives, friends, classmates and schoolmates, and colleagues.

Scripture reminds us in Galatians 6:2 to "Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ." We believe with all our hearts that God is our Ultimate Healer, and we know He often works through the hands, prayers, and generosity of a loving community. The financial toll of prolonged hospitalizations, major surgery, specialized oncology care, and ongoing palliative treatment is overwhelming, but together, we can lift this heavy weight from her shoulders so she can focus entirely on fighting for her life.
How You Can Stand With Nonette Today:
• Donate: Every single dollar goes directly toward her vital cancer treatments, medications, and hospital care. No amount is too small—every contribution gives Nonette more precious time.
• Pray: We ask for your fervent, continuous prayers for God's miraculous healing, relief from pain, strength for her body, and comfort for her heart.
• Share: Please share this link with your own networks, churches, workplaces, and communities to help us surround Nonette with the largest circle of support possible.

We cannot walk this dark valley alone, but we know that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is there. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your enduring kindness, your prayers, your generosity, and for being the hands and feet of Jesus for Nonette during her hour of greatest need.
May God richly bless you for your kindness.
With endless gratitude and faith,
Cielomar
