From 16th to Nationals: Help Us Get There

This team has done the impossible! San Diego Surf ECNL-RL Blue 09 returned to their regular club season from their high school soccer season sitting firmly at 16th place. They knew that they could do better!

After making some adjustments, working hard in practice, and training in the off-hours, the team battled hard! They ultimately persevered to finish the season in 6th place.

This earned the guys a spot in the West Conference Regionals in Norco, CA. They competed against 15 teams from the western region of the US, including of California, Oregon, Nevada, and Washington.

After 4 competitive days in the heat, San Diego Surf ECNL-RL Blue 09 managed to pull off an amazing upset in the finals! They punched their ticket to be one of 2 teams to advance to the ENCL Regional League National Championships, July 11- 14th in Richmond, VA.

Please support this team of over 20 boys by helping them to get to Richmond, VA, and cover their daily expenses. Expenses will include flights, hotels, meals and transportation.

¡Necesitamos su apoyo para llegar a Finales Nacionales!

¡Este equipo ha hecho lo imposible! San Diego Surf ECNL-RL Blue 09 regresó a la

temporada de liga regular de su temporada de High School (Prepa) en lugar 16! ¡Estaban

seguros de poder mejorar!

Después de hacer algunos ajustes, esforzándose en las prácticas, y agregando

entrenamientos, el equipo peleó más fuerte! Ellos pudieron perseverar y así terminar la

temporada en el sexto lugar.

Así fue como ganaron un puesto para las Finales Regionales en Norco, Ca. Compitieron

contra 15 equipos de la región Oeste de los Estados Unidos que incluye a California,

Oregón, Nevada y Washington.

Después de 4 días de competencia bajo un fuerte calor, San Diego Surf ECNL-RL Blue 09

dio la campanada en la final y logró pasar! Asegurando así su boleto al ser uno de dos

equipos que avanzan a las “ENCL Regional National Championship” finals nacionales del

11 al 14 de Julio en Richmond, Virginia.

Por favor apoyen a este equipo de más de 20 chicos para que puedan llegar a Richmond,

Virginia y puedan cubrir sus costos diarios. Estos costos incluyen vuelos de avión, hoteles,

comidas y transportación.
