It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Mel Austin's wife Tyra Austin. Tyra passed away unexpectedly yesterday afternoon leaving behind 6 wonderful children Sean, Aaron, Cortez, Laurence, Jovan, and Erika and her husband Mel.  Today in her memory we acknowledge and share both our joy in the gift that her life was to us, and the pain that her passing brings. In sharing the joy and the pain together, may we lessen the pain and remember more clearly the joy.  Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of meeting Tyra knows what a beautiful soul she was. Together Tyra and Mel have participated in many charity events and have donated countless hours in building communities.  Now it's our turn to return the love by helping Mel give Tyra a wonderful funeral service to celebrate her life which she deserves.  We are asking all family, friends, fans, coworkers, and people that have been blessed by the Austin family for support.  Any donation is greatly appreciated.
