Help Whim 'n Rhythm of 2025 Release an Album!

Dear friends,

Whim 'n Rhythm of 2025 is raising money to support an album release in 2025. The funds would go towards the costs of sending out our tracks to get professionally mixed and mastered. The Whim ‘n Rhythm Alumnae Board will match contributions up to $2500. Any remaining funds donated that are not used for our album will be used for funding our upcoming international tour expenses.

Recording an album is especially important to the Whim Class of 2025 because we have introduced an unprecedented number of brand new arrangements into the repertoire written by current members. Compiling these new arrangements into a body of work that the general public can listen to would be the perfect way to commemorate and celebrate the musical work we have put in and will continue to put in this year. We are planning to record an album with seven songs and have already finished recording over half of them!

Whim 'n Rhythm was originally founded in 1981 and consists of the most talented soprano-alto seniors in the Yale Class of 2025. All of our music is arranged by students, dating back to music predating the group's founding to brand new arrangements from the Class of 2025, spanning genres ranging from jazz standards to soulful ballads to pop and rock classics.
