We, Coen and Franky are two French fries bakers from the Netherlands and we bake fries and snacks in Ukraine for refugees, soldiers and anyone else who is in need.

In October we will go to Ukraine again to bake fries and snacks but we will allso help in other ways there where we can.

Previously we stood on the Ukrainian / Polish border for a longer period of time handing out fries and snacks. Per day we gave away more than 2,000 portions of fries and about 1,800 snacks. This was very much appreciated by the refugees who had just come from a difficult and dangerous journey.

Our last trips were to Lviv (Ukraine) where we gave food to people who did not have the opportunity to leave the Ukraine. Again, we provided food to thousands of people.

In total, we gave away more than 65,000 snacks and over 75,000! servings of fries. We also gave out 70,000 cans of soda, lots of candy and thousands of donuts.

We will never forget all that we experienced there. We met wonderful people who, despite the dire position, they were in, and the terrible losses they had, amazed us again and again with their optimism and strength. This is why we have to keep going.

We got a lot of attention from the media (popular Dutch TV-programs as Jinek, Hart van Nederland etc.). Almost all TV and radio stations in the Netherlands have paid attention to our trips to Ukraine (NOS, SBS, RTL, Radio 538 and many more). Many reports have been broadcast abroad also.

Through all this attention we have had sponsorship from individuals and companies and even Dutch TV celebrities such as “The Toppers” and we were regular guests in one of the most popular radio programs in the NL: “The Coen and Sander Show”.

Soon we will start baking fries and snacks again and provide help in other ways in Ukraine because it is needed even more now than before. As the war in Ukraine is allready lasting more than half a year, the attention is getting less but the need for help is getting more. For refugees who have not had the opportunity to flee the country there is even less (almost no) help.

We will not forget these people! Therefore we offer help on the spot again with our mobile restaurant. We are a very small organization (2 people with local help). The advantage is, that you as a possible sponsor (or just as a follower) can see everything we do on our social media. So you see what happens with your donation.

At the moment the attention for the Ukrainian refugees is unfortunately weakened and we have less sponsorship. Nevertheless, we will go there again in October. We will pay as much as possible out of our own pockets. We would like to stay for a longer time. How long we can continue to work in Ukraine depends on your sponsorship. Therefore dear people, help us.
