Morning Friendship -- Waffle and Tug's absolute BFF Tillie -- needs our help.

 

 

This morning, Waffle, Tillie (morning friendship) and Tug adventured in the fresh snow for an hour. They zoomied and frolicked, and for just a moment, as the sun shone brightly in our little corner of Vermont, the world felt alright. Tonight, Tillie was not okay, though.

 

 

After dinner, she started acting weirdly — notably off — so her parents, Dianne and Kelly Griggs, rushed her to the emergency vet.

 

Tillie’s stomach had flipped — a phenomenon commonly known as ‘bloat’ in the dog community. The vets are treating her for shock, and then she will immediately head into surgery.

 

 

The cost of the procedure and medications will be over ten thousand dollars.
