Friendsgiving for Frank
Sometimes in life we are blessed to cross paths with a truly special soul. Here at Homewatch Caregivers of Northern Kentucky we feel more blessed than deserved most days.
When we began providing help to "Frank" we knew that he was helping us more than we could ever help him. "Frank" is a gentleman in every sense of the word. "Frank" is a retired diesel mechanic who is now confined to a wheelchair which has left only a few rooms of his home safely accessible. In the past "Frank" graciously shared his house with loved ones who found themselves in need while he was temporarily living in a local nursing home.
"Frank's" generosity and gentle ways have made him a favorite among those fortunate enough to have been graced by his warm smile. The entire staff at Homewatch have come to love the time they spend in his home doing simple tasks. As the holidays near "Frank's" focus has become how he will afford to pay his current property tax bill of $1300 and manage to stay warm and fed properly.
As the season of giving is fast upon us we are asking that anyone who would like to help a neighbor please consider making a monetary donation and/or a donation of the following: canned goods, non-perishable food items, socks, warm blankets, toilet paper as well as long-sleeved t-shirts (size medium). Donations can be dropped off at 71 Cavalier Blvd. Suite 216 in Florence between now and November 25. Please feel free to contact our office for further information.
