Friends Unite for Lee and Melissa

I am writing this with the heaviest of hearts for our dear friend to many, Melissa Lawrence and her beautiful little girls Millie(3) and Maren (1). On Monday June 16th their beloved father and Melissa's life partner Lee Mozakis unexpectedly passed. It goes without saying that he has left an enormous void for his immediate family and lifelong friends . We are all saddened beyond words for their tremendous loss . Melissa is in process of setting up 529 plans for the girls an this Go Fund Me will be used to assist in their college fund and to support what Lee had held closest to his heart - those tiny smiles and their BIG dreams .

Those who knew Lee and Melissa and their journey to become parents know what an incredibly difficult process it was . They stopped at nothing to create the family they hoped and longed to have one day. So many ups and so many challenges that most would have given up . They always persevered holding close the vision of the family they wanted. Almost a little over a year ago their dream was finally a reality when Maren arrived. They were ready to start the next chapter of life as a busy family of four . Lee's passing only makes this even more unbelievable and our hearts even more heavy for Millie, Maren, and Melissa. Anyone that knew Lee knew how much he loved and cherished these two girls. They were his EVERYTHING. Lee had spent the last few years being an amazing father to his two beautiful daughters Millie Lawrence Mozakis and Maren Lawrence Mozakis . Beyond being a doting dad Lee was kind, whitty and fiercely intellectual and protective over things that mattered.

May Millie and Maren always know the love and light that Lee shared with many and how he loved them beyond measure .
