Dear Friends, Family, and Caring Community,

We are reaching out to ask for your prayers, love, and support for an extraordinary mom, cherished friend, and pillar of our community. Jill Pate has dedicated her life to nurturing, teaching, and guiding her children with unwavering devotion and a deep faith in God. She is now facing one of her toughest challenges: a recent diagnosis of Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer has proved to be aggressive and has already spread to her Lymphatic System.

With her characteristic strength, grit, and incredible sense of humor, she’s preparing for a major battle. Soon, she will undergo a Modified Radical Double Mastectomy with Axillary Lymph Dissection at the Cancer Surgery Center, followed by months of chemotherapy and radiation to ensure the cancer is completely defeated. Her faith in God remains steadfast, and she deeply believes in His care for her and her family during this challenging time.

While her spirit is strong, the road ahead will be physically, emotionally, and financially demanding. This is where we, her community, can step in to help lighten the load.

How You Can Help:

Prayers: Your prayers mean the world to her and her family. Please pray for the cancer to not spread further, for a smooth and successful surgery, and for effective treatments that will restore her health. Pray for her body to remain strong and for a swift and full recovery. Pray for her family as they surround her and learn how to help her during this time.

Financial Support: While she has health insurance– It pays nothing, until their high deductible is reached, there are also recovery costs, acquiring a reliable modest vehicle for transportation to and from appointments in Boise, travel/lodging costs, and the demands of homeschooling her children during this time, all adding an additional layer of stress. With your generosity, we can help her focus on what matters most: healing and being with her family.
