Friends Helping a Friend

I met Nikki 6 years ago working at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital.  She was warm and helpful in providing information to me as new employee learning the ropes.  Our personalities connected and she became the big sister I always wanted. She has been my personal angel providing love, kindness, advise and a listening ear.

A few years ago her husband passed away from cancer leaving Nikki to raise three beautiful girls.  In 2013, Nikki was diagnosed with breast cancer but was not defeated and became a breast cancer survivor. Last month we found out her cancer has returned and she will need radiation treatment everyday along with other treatments. This devastated Nikki because she has just started a new job last month. Due to the 90 day probation policy and the scheduled medical appointments, radiation and other treatments, she was asked to resign from her job. This will leave her and her children without medical coverage and in a very difficult financial situation.

I would like to donate this money to help with financial expenses she will needs once she is unemployed.
