Friends of Will Quinlan

How many times have you said to yourself Will Quinlan is special. He doesn't say much, but he has this ability to carry a guitar into a room and change everything. Days later, weeks, months, you might see him again and he's the same guy. Quiet and humble, he's always there to thank you for coming to see him. But what you may not know is that this man is as complex as a fine bourbon. There is so much locked up inside him just waiting to get out. Alas, the struggle is real. Everytime we meet Will tells me about this song, this record, THOSE records he has but everything is trapped inside with no financial means of letting these hidden secrets into the world. There are no plans in place, so show after show, barstool after barstool, the dreams of Will Quinlan flicker, unseen, unknown, a mystery to all of us that know him. I want to prove to Will that if you reach out to those that care, his flicker can turn fire. We are there for him. So, I want to take up this challenge. I want to see if a few thousand of our friends can raise $5000 in order to help Will record and release his next batch of inspirations. If we cant help this man, who can we help?  As a reward for all donors there will be a few limited demos and songs never released by Will, and a very special donor only party including a musical performance by Will and quite possibly some other local musicians you might know. All of you that know Will after reading this can envision him sittin at the bar at New World shaking his head in disbelief that this even has a shot at happening. I want to prove him wrong. Its what Irishmen do besides drinking. Here's to Will Quinlan, our friend, and that we will always help him when the chips are down.
