Ukraine is suffering under attack by Russia. My long-time friend and colleague Ruslan Zasukhin and I started a business together called Paradigma Software in the early 2000s, and he runs our development team in Kherson, Ukraine. Many have been with us since they finished college, and we also have some paid interns from the local university. Almost all, except the interns, have since begun to raise families. Ruslan is also very active at the university.
Ukraine is suffering under attack by Russia. My long-time friend and colleague Ruslan Zasukhin and I started a business together called Paradigma Software in the early 2000s, and he runs our development team in Kherson, Ukraine. Many have been with us since they finished college, and we also have some paid interns from the local university. Almost all, except the interns, have since begun to raise families. Ruslan is also very active at the university.
We are raising funds to support our colleagues during (and hopefully soon after) the crisis. Our plan is to provide financial support based on the following hierarchy of need:
- Loss of home or need to leave. We can't leave people homeless. So far, our friends and colleagues are toughing it out in Kherson, but if they have to go, we want to help them get to the border and get situated.
- Necessities, supplies and medicine. Local supplies are starting to grow thin as of today. While many Ukrainians have home gardens, we want to keep them as healthy as possible.
- Reinforcement of homes. Windows need to be covered, and other small fixes can keep homes and apartments from contributing harm to those that live there. We know some don't dare to return to their apartments because of injuries from broken glass shattering when nearby explosions happen.
Our goal is to support our team and their families (in the event of the team member passing, their survivors), our interns and other friends and colleagues in Kherson. Ruslan is also reaching out to the university to see what we can do to help.
We are grateful for any level of donation you can provide. As regularly as possible, we will also offer some 'feet on the ground' updates from Kherson and messages from those you are helping.

私たちはウクライナの危機状況の中、また危機直後の彼らを支援するために募金活動を行っています。私たちは以下のニーズに対し資金援助を行う事を計画しています：
自宅の損失や避難。人を屋根なし状態には出来ません。今の所私たちの友人や同僚たちはへルソンで頑張っていますが、もしへルソンから避難しなければならなくなった場合、無事国境まで行き落ち着けるよう手助けするための資金となります。
日用必需品調達。現時点で地元の日用必需品の蓄えが少しずつ減ってきています。多くのウクライナの家庭には家庭農園がありますが、なるべく彼らの健康を維持するための調達資金となります。
家屋の強化。窓を覆ったり、簡単な修理を行うことで家屋やアパート等の強化ができ、破損による住民への怪我の削減ができます。近隣への爆撃により窓が割れ、その破片による怪我で自宅に戻れない方々がいます。
私たちの目的は、私たちのチームメンバーやその家族（チームメンバーが亡くなった場合そのご遺族）、インターンの方々、へルソンにいる友人達や同僚の支援です。ルスラン氏は現在地元の大学へ連絡を取り、彼らにも私たちから何か支援が出来ないか相談しています。
