Friends of Union Street Kitchen Café

As many of you will know, Union Street Kitchen Café had to close earlier this month due to Covid-19. Owner Christine Garand’s creation, this much-loved coffee shop in the heart of New Edinburgh is much more than a source of coffee, food and treats (and yoga!); it has grown into a community gathering place and a social hub. While government responses to the present crisis continue to evolve, I have created this page as a way to support Christine during the closure and to thank her for her hard work bringing to life a business that adorns the neighbourhood and means a great deal to all of us.
