The Porsche community needs more people like Trevor. He exhibits a level of positive energy and enthusiasm for these wonderful cars that makes us all feel welcome to what is otherwise a pretty exclusive club.
Trevor’s journey to become the go to guy for metal work wasn’t an easy one. He walked away from a career with regular paychecks and good benefits, in order to pursue his passion for early Porsches, a path that led him to a little shop in San Clemente known as “Jack Staggs” Over the years Trevor has become an expert in Porsche preservation and repair and, more importantly, he and Jack have become close friends.
Many of us have enjoyed spending time with Trevor talking about cars, music, our families and everything in between. He is a genuinely humble, generous and thoughtful person. Trevor is also an incredible father and a loyal friend. If you follow him on Instagram you’ll see that he makes his two kids a priority, spending all his free time with them.
Trevor is in the hospital and is about to undergo heart surgery. He went to the emergency department Monday evening and was admitted immediately. He is lucky to be alive. Our prayers are with him and his family as he heads into surgery. The recovery will be long and slow and Trevor will not be able to lay his skilled hands on a 356 for a while.
This fund is intended to help Trevor and his family with medical bills and lost income. As I write this I am not certain if Trevor even has medical insurance. As a small business owner, it is likely that he doesn’t. Either way, he has some serious health and financial challenges ahead of him and the Porsche community can help to make a difference for Trevor and his kids.
