It is with great sadness to report that on Friday April 9, 2020, our good friend Steve Salva was called home to heaven.  Steve suffered from a heart infection and complications from that infection that left him in need of a transplant that was not meant to be. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and  service that can be easily seen in the eyes and actions of his eight children, six of whom are still at home. 
     Many have asked how they can help the Salva family.  Over the past year, Steve's medical care has come at a great cost.  I know any contribution will give comfort and peace of mind to Steve's family who   have sacrificed so  much for his care. 
     Steve gave so much to his community  including St. Lawrence RC and St. John The Baptist RC, The Knights of Columbus, Palisades Community School, and many groups within those organizations.  Please help our  community support his family at their greatest time of need.
