Friends of Onaje: Cancer Recovery Fund

We are raising money to help support our dear friend, Onaje Gittens, as he continues his ongoing battle against cancer.  The money raised will help Onaje pay for his mounting medical bills, oncologist prescribed special diet, and general personal expenses during this difficult time.  

Onaje was first diagnosed with stage four rectal cancer in 2018.  The cancer spread to his liver the following year.  His treatment required several massive surgeries, aggressive chemotherapy, and radiation, all of which wreaked havoc on his body, psychological well being, employment, and personal life.  Through sheer determination and faith, Onaje beat the cancer into remission. Although he won that battle, unfortunately, he recently learned that he has not yet won the war.

In January 2021, the cancer returned, but it has now moved to his lung.  Onaje has already started aggressive treatments, but he needs our help. 

We are asking you to please help Onaje by alleviating the financial pressure that comes with fighting cancer.  No amount is too small.  Any donation, even as little as $5.00, would mean so much.  Thank you in advance for anything you can do to help us reach our fundraising goal and help Onaje beat cancer!
