An Internat is an orphanage, boarding school and shelter for
children & young adults with disabilities.
We are Friends of Nizhyn Internat, a group of British & Ukrainian friends dedicated to supporting the disabled orphanage in Nizhyn, north-eastern Ukraine for over a decade.
Our current mission to is raise £25,000 by March 2026 to purchase a wheelchair-accessible minibus for the service users of the Internat. This will cover the purchase of the minibus, servicing, registration and tax, as well as supporting the Internat with future running costs.
