Mischa was found unresponsive on the side of the road on July 18. He was immediately flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore where he remains in very critical but stable condition.
Mischa had a less than optimal childhood that carried over to his adult life.
We got to know Mischa when he came to work for our company in May of this year.
Through conversations we learned about his life and how he came upon hard times.
He is a polite, hardworking and dedicated employee. He was working hard at putting his life back together. Then tragedy struck.
Mischa has no insurance and little finances to help him with what will no doubt be large medical bills and a significant amount of time off from work.
We are asking the Frederick Community to help lift this young man up so that when he regains consciousness and leaves the hospital, he won't be left with a mountain of debt and no financial support.
We haven't known him long. What we do know is that everyone deserves a helping hand in times of great struggle. Please help us lessen his load.
August 2018 Update: We recently learned because of the nature of his injury (hit and run) Mischa qualifies for some medical assistance. We are unsure what exactly this will cover, for this reason we are continuing to raise funds. The funds raised will cover the costs of uncovered medical expenses including, but not limited to physical and speech therapy; transportation to and from therapies, life expenses, etc. Because of the extensive nature of Mischa's injuries he still has a limited memory, is currently unable to work and provide for his basic needs.
Your continued support is a blessing and greatly appreciated.
Thank you
