Let's Rally to Support Michelle Geubtner Florian!
UPDATE: Michelle and her family are so grateful for all the donations and the sharing of this page near and far. The kind words, thoughts and prayers have meant so much to the entire family. They extend their greatest appreciation. Thank you! <3
As some of you may know, Michelle Geubtner Florian, our dear friend and sister, has been receiving cancer treatment for the last three years. She has not been able to teach this year at Belmont Hills Elementary in order to receive a more intensive treatment. Unfortunately, the most recent chemotherapy has damaged her kidneys. Due to the damage, she is now limited to the types of treatments she can receive. The good news is that there are some alternative therapies and trials that show promise. Unfortunately, most of them are not covered by insurance. Michelle has the strength and drive to tackle these treatments, and we want to help her tackle the costs associated with it.
Michelle’s family has been her strength and primary support system for the past three years. They have been there to help with her children, Atticus and Emilia, provide meals, and help take Michelle to and from treatments and hospital stays. Anyone who knows the Geubtner family knows the strong bond they have for one another. They are an inspiration to everyone. Always willing to help others, we now would love to return the love to this wonderful family.

As we all know, it is not easy asking for help. Countless friends and coworkers have dropped off meals and offered support in numerous ways. Michelle and her family are eternally grateful for all the help she has received so far. People still continue to ask how they can help. Well, we can really help make a difference by making a monetary donation to help Michelle. High costs are anticipated for treatment and travel. Any donation amount will be appreciated.
