In late August our dear friend Elizabeth Doskotz suffered a very serious accident that left her in critical medical condition. She was in the ICU for several weeks and while she is beginning to stabilize she is still hospitalized and has a long road to recovery ahead of her.
Liz is a very special and compassionate person. She runs Freedom Horse LLC; a facility specializing in Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies in Long Valley New Jersey. This practice treats people with a variety of physiological and mental health issues and in many cases her Farm has become their lifeline. Liz's Farm is also home to her non-profit organization called Freedom Horse Inc that provides similar services to military veterans
The treatments people receive at Freedom Horse Farm are highly specialized and not easy to replace.
Without Liz, her business, and her charitable services, are unable to operate, placing both of them in immediate jeopardy as going concerns. This has created great uncertainty about the future and welfare of her horses, and her clients.
We are “Friends of Liz” trying to help her by raising money to “keep the lights on” while she recovers from her injuries. We want to ensure that she can retain help to keep her horses safe and well for the immediate future and ensure that her patients have an organized and sympathetic transition to alternative care providers. We also want to help her pay her growing medical bills.
Please help us help Liz by making donation.
