Leslie Porterfield is an amazing woman and living legend in the motorcycling industry as well as her racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. She holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest FIM World Record by a woman and was the first woman to enter the prestigious Bonneville 200 MPH Club on a motorcycle.
However, in the past 72 hours she's been hit with TWO back-to-back hardships that would devastate most any of us: Her beloved father died on Saturday, August 4 and then on the morning of Tuesday, August 7, her home was completely engulfed in a fire that destroyed everything including her truck and car at 5:30a.
Leslie has insurance; yet, it's going to take time to get everything sorted out while she deals with all of this in addition to her father's funeral expenses.
If you can provide a financial hand up to help her in this time of crisis, it would be so appreciated.
ALL funds go directly to Leslie less the tiny percentage that GoFundMe takes for processing.
Thank you and keep the shiny side up and Leslie in your prayers in this time of need.
