Friends of Lake Kanasatka

The Lake Kanasatka Watershed Association is taking donations in the name of one of our founders, Ted Hilton, to raise funds for a water management plan. This plan will preserve the ecology of the lake, protect its wildlife, ensure the water quality, and keep Kanasatka pristine for generations to come.
Ted was a prominent fixture in the Lake Kanasatka community. Apart from helping to found the LKWA, he ran Deer Hill Camp on its shores for 50 years. Deer Hill was a place where young boys and girls from across the country were given the opportunity to explore the natural world, to gain a better understanding of themselves and of others, and to develop their independence and self-confidence.
In Ted's memory, please consider donating to this wonderful cause to preserve the place that meant so much to him, and all those who passed through his beloved Deer Hill.
For more information on the LKWA, please visit our website at www.kanasatka.org.
