Greetings,
Thank you to all who take the time to read about our friend, Kurt, and his extraordinary life.
We are humbly asking for help to give Kurt the last respects and celebration of life he deserves.
Kurt walked on this week after fighting bravely through several long-time chronic health issues.
Kurt proudly served in the US Navy as a Seabee. After leaving the Navy, he worked for several years as a truck driver, a tow truck driver, and a heavy equipment operator.
Kurt loved animals and often took in stray dogs and cats who needed warmth and love. He was also a kind and caring friend, known to answer a phone call from a friend in need, even in the middle of the night.
He enjoyed living life to the fullest in his little cabin in the mountains, frequently helping neighbors with mechanical work, as was his hobby and passion.
We hope to give Kurt the memorial, burial, and celebration of life he deserves. Please join us in combining resources to help this fantastic human with this last gesture of kindness. Funds will be used to pay for burial expenses, a headstone, and a memorial service. Any funds remaining after these expenses have been covered will be used to help transport Kurt's beloved dogs to his son's home in Texas.
Thank you so much for your generosity!
