Kathie Frattarelli’s Fight Against Brain Cancer
Kathie was diagnosed with Grade4 Glioblastoma brain cancer (Anaplastic Astrocytoma) in the fall of 2019. Since then, she has fought like hell through two brain surgeries and countless trips to Boston for treatments at Mass General and Tufts Medical.
Kathie is a 50 year old single mom of 2 adult children and a 16 year old high school daughter. She is also the founder of a Rhode Island home care company dedicated to comforting people and their families when they need it most. Kathie began this journey of caring for others when our mom was diagnosed with MS when she was just 10. This was the inspiration for Kathie’s life long ambition of helping others in need.
Kathie has been battling brain cancer for almost 18 months and is currently not able to work or drive. We all want Kathie to focus on the fight ahead of her and would like to ease the financial burden of ongoing Medical bills, rent, and future experimental treatments. Additionally we would like to apply all funds raised towards the costs associated with a daily housekeeper, daily meal delivery and preparation, and additional therapies not covered by insurance.
All funds from this Go Fund Me will be managed and distributed by her brothers (Mike & Joe Ryan) and will be allocated directly towards the intended services.
Kathie is a very proud person and would never ask for help...so we are asking. Your help and generosity will go a very long way in helping our sister focus on winning the fight of her life.
