We are the friends of Karen & Larry Crawford and Flourchild's Bakery. On August 4, Karen had several brain seizures and with the swift care of the AVFD, Karen was transported to Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.  A mass was detected in her brain and a biopsy was taken.  The biopsy revealed Level 3 cancer. Surgery is set for September 3, and chemo and radiation therapy will start thereafter.

Karen  and Larry started Flourchild's bakery as a labor of love for the Abiquiu community to nurture and provide a safe haven of belonging . As the friends of Karen & Larry, it is now our turn to provide love and community in this time of challenge. Please give whatever you can during this challenging time in their lives. 

Karen needs to rest and heal so please no phone calls or visits in the coming weeks.
