Want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Friends of Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge tram fund, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to all of us Friends of Hagerman.
The mission of the Friends of Hagerman is to instill reverence, respect and conservation of our wild creatures and habitats through supporting environmental education, recreational activities, and programs of Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge at Lake Texoma in North Texas/Southern Oklahoma. One of the ways we do that is by regularly scheduled tram tours for visitors. This tram tour program has been one of the most popular for visitors and friends of Hagerman NWR and takes riders on a tour of Hagerman including the history, geography, habitat zones, wildlife and so many other things. The tours have always been appreciated by visitors and serve as an introduction or refresher to Hagerman or merely a way to enjoy it.
As with all good things, however, the CECE is reaching the end of its service life and we have been made aware that we should start planning for a replacement tram. And so, we have. Pictured is the tram we are having to replace.
