Grady Thomas Needs Our Help

As a cofounding member of Parliament-Funkadelic, Grady Thomas has no shortage of fans, and having parted ways with P-Funk long ago, it is no secret that if his band Original P isn't working, he is unable to earn a living. At 76 years old, he can't do anything except sing in a funk band. He suffers from diabetes, and with the high cost of "whole foods" his Social Security check is barely enough to survive on, so his house went into foreclosure because his mortgage payments had been impossible to make. Go Fund Me - Grady stated "that's for people who need a heart transplant", so in lieu of a Go Fund Me campaign, he decided to have an "Everything must go" sale that doesn't seem to be working as he'd hoped. Several people suggested that I start this campaign, and I did so with his daughter Tammy's blessing.  Making a "best estimate of costs" through tears difficult. Needs - Grady needs assistance to secure an apartment in an eldercare or assisted-living community, or a spare bedroom. He needs trustworthy people to help him go through his belongings to sell, keep or throw-away. He needs a moving company or trustworthy people to load and transport his belongings by truck once a location is secured. He needs a loving home for his two dogs Nileah and Angel, and he needs a roundtrip ticket to Newark, New Jersey. He must vacate the premises by his January 5th (78th) birthday.
