Friends of Glenfrome

Friends of Glenfrome (FOG) is Glenfrome Primary School's Parents-Teachers Association. It is volunteer-led and aims to create a welcoming and inclusive school community through all sorts of fundraising events and activities. All funds raised go towards enriching our children's school experience and creating a friendly community for all.

For most FOG activities we suggest a donation of £1 or £2.
We wanted to ensure that we had a platform in place to accept online donations but this site allows a minimum donation of £5,  significantly higher than we would ask you to donate per activity. If you wish to make an online donation this can of course cover multiple/future activities.

Every year FOG subsidies school trips for each of the 14 classes, aiming to provide a total of £2100 split £150 per class.

In addition to the class trips, the money raised by FOG has also funded:

- The picnic benches (so children can eat outdoors)

- A contribution to the year 2/3 playground

- Greta Thunberg print by local Graffiti Artist, Jody (above Mrs Law’s office in the school)

- The Christmas Show by Kid Carpet for all classes

- Christmas D.I.S.C.O – with live DJ, a visit from Father Christmas, and a gift for everyone who attended

- A new house for the Year 4 Guinea Pigs

- Making sure the teachers had enough tea and coffee!
