Hello, my name is Ellen. On behalf of all of the Friends of Fenton, I am fundraising to help Fenton and Tempie Rood.

Here is what happened. On April 12, 2022 our friend Fenton Rood was going for his morning run near where he lives in rural Lincoln County. He was mauled by a pack of dogs and fell unconscious until he was discovered and 911 was called. He was taken by helicopter to the Trauma Center at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Fenton is expected to recover but has a long road of healing ahead of him. He has already had several surgeries to stitch up and clean wounds and bite punctures. More surgeries are scheduled to continue to clean injuries and repair damage. Fenton is in good spirits.

Fenton and Tempie have helped many people all over the state of Oklahoma. We now have the opportunity to repay them for their kindness and friendship. The Friends of Fenton (FoF) are setting up a Go Fund Me account to help Fenton and Tempie pay for unexpected expenses since April 12, 2022. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help pay for medical bills and other costs related to this incident.
