Eddie unexpectedly lost his health battle on Saturday afternoon, May 8, 2021.
He was at home with Claire and his last thoughts were of his friends.
Claire is alone now.

where many of us met and enjoyed their hospitality and
they treated us as family, whether old friends or meeting the first time
Sakura Open Golf Tournament
A Golf Tournament started on Eddie's birthday with all funds donated to Charity
Eddie and Claire were able to do this for 12 years, and
supported local projects and those in need in our community through it,
and gave many of us a wonderful venue to share in their camaraderie.
They have both given to the community, in so many ways...
It's our hope and prayer that the community will now support them.
As many of you may not know; Eddie fought a long complicated health battle, he was receiving dialysis treatments 3 times a week for the past 4 years, and had not been able to work. Claire has been a loving wife and tried to manage caring for Eddie, healthcare and living expenses. . . and has been silently struggling-yet still supporting those in need around her. Holding-on to their home has been, and is going to be a difficult challenge for her --which she won't be able to do without the help and support of all their friends.
All funds donated will go directly to Claire Hwang,
to help with immediate funeral expenses and hopefully keeping her home.
