My dear friend Candy Gaiser, a long time and well-respected agility judge and competitor with her Foxhounds, Whippets, and Windsprites and who is also very active in lure coursing and racing, was seriously injured in an accident in early November, and has experienced some complications post-surgery. She still has a very long, difficult road to recovery, and her mobility will continue to be compromised for quite some time yet.

Expenses are mounting, Medicare and insurance are not covering nearly enough, and it is unlikely Candy will be able to return to teaching or judging anytime soon.

Several close friends have stepped up and have been caring for all her canine family while she has been hospitalized and in rehab, but she really could use some additional financial assistance in the upcoming weeks and months  I am reaching out to all her friends in the agility, coursing, racing, Whippet, Windsprite, and Foxhound communities to please help Candy during this difficult and painful time by making a donation.
