Ayden Williams was an amazing and vibrant 11-year old boy who was in the 6th grade and loved attending school. He was diagnosed with autism, however, this diagnoses never slowed him down! He was always so full of life making everyone around him smile with his great sense of humor and amazing dance moves. Ayden was an inquisitive and helpful student who genuinely cared about the children and adults who surrounded him. Sadly, on August 17, 2023, Ayden unexpectedly passed away after suffering a brief and sudden illness. His family and friends are completely devastated. Ayden is beloved by all who have worked with him and an absolute joy to have known. We are asking for donations to assist his family during this difficult time.

The individuals who started this page are teachers and related service providers for Ayden at his school. We chose to start a campaign because we wanted to be able to help Ayden's family with any financial costs that were incurred during this time. We also hope that the family might be able to use the money for a memorial service where the remaining members of Ayden's family could gather to celebrate his life. Ayden touched so many lives at our school and many members of our organization were looking for a way to assist the family. Our school is housed in 8 separate locations around NYC, 4 of which he attended throughout his educational journey, and individuals from each site inquired how to donate. The money will go directly to Ayden's mother, Genesis Aquino.
