Friends of Albert Silvestri

Dear Friends of Albert Silvestri,

 

On 3/3/21, our good friend Al Silvestri fell down a staircase in his house. He was diagnosed with very serious injuries including a deep laceration to his left shoulder which required 31 staples in addition to severe brain trauma. His dementia has progressed to the point that it is unlikely he will ever be able to return to his previous life.

 

I have enlisted the help of three of his friends from different periods of his life to help get the word out.

Paul Mongillo grew up with Al in Oyster Bay, NY and continues to be present in Al's life.

Bruce Borowsky will help get the word out to his friends in Colorado.

Wright Hugus is a long-term friend and has worked with him worldwide in his sports career.

We are all working together on this because that’s what friends do. By contributing to this, you will be helping out a great person we all know and love. 100% of contributions will go directly to protect Al. He is deeply in debt with medical expenses. We are trying to stop foreclosure on his house. We need to hire a lawyer to achieve this. We need financial help to move him back home to Long Island, NY to be near his family.

Our goal is to raise $25,000.
