Agnes has been diagnosed with a rare disorder in the leukemia family Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia. A week before her new insurance plan kicked in, Agnes was hospitalized in an emergency situation and unfortunately the astronomical costs are not covered.
A proud member of Marywood University's class of 1963, Agnes maintains close ties with her Alma Mater as well as her fellow alumni especially those in the education field.
Agnes dedicated her life to educating students at Nativity of our Lord School in South Scranton from 1970 to 1986. She taught every subject in grades 4 through 8. As one of the only lay teachers at this school, she proudly admires the accomplishments of the hundreds of students who passed through her classroom.
Please consider supporting this fund that will help this very deserving woman in her time of need.
