Friends Helping Doc Recover From An Accident
Donation protected
Dearest Friends, Neighbors, and Community Members,
On October 22, our good friend, Todd “Doc” Doolittle, was in a life altering, traumatic, car accident. While returning home from Sunday grocery shopping in Westerly, RI, a car crossed his lane of travel and hit him.
Doc has sustained multiple serious and severe injuries, including a broken neck and injury to his spinal cord. Doctors and Therapists have indicated that his rehabilitation will be extensive, lasting months.
Due to spinal stenosis, he currently cannot move his arms above his chest, and struggles to use his hands to so much as open a bottle of water, or even send a text message.
Doc is a laborer, which adds another degree of challenge to this experience as he will likely not be able to return to construction, carpentry, property maintenance, or producing cordwood for many months, if ever.
Please understand that our friend of 50 years is the guy who does anything for anyone without ever asking for anything in return. If we can help remove the financial burden from him, he can completely focus on his recovery. PLEASE, PLEASE help us help him, the most deserving person we know.
In this season of giving and miracles, we are asking for a donation. Any amount, big or small, will make a huge difference and will be greatly appreciated. Please share this link with your friends, family, and contacts, to spread the word and increase the chances of reaching the goal.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. We will keep you updated on Doc's progress and how the funds are being used.
Sincerely,
Doc’s Friends
