On May 4, 2020, Darla got the news which changed her life...she has cancer. A few weeks later she found out that it wasn’t just any cancer, but stage 4 lung cancer.  Unfortunately, the cancer has metastasized throughout her body and causes a lot of pain for this sweet lady! Darla is strong and a fighter!  She has been in Colorado Springs off and on throughout the past few months receiving treatment. She now has plans to continue her fight at MD Anderson in Houston in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, her insurance won’t cover the treatment at MD Anderson. She has done a good job saving, but this treatment and all the travel expenses will wipe it out quickly.   Please consider donating to help Darla with her medical and travel expenses.
