Summer Camp

Alex just finished the 4th grade. He is ten years old and is one of the smartest kids I’ve ever known. This year, Alex was chosen to participate in a STEM camp that only 7 students from his school were given the opportunity to attend. He deserves to be there. However, sending Alex to camp will cost approximately $3,000. He applied for a scholarship but unfortunately did not receive it. So far, I’ve raised half the money but as a single mom these opportunities aren’t things I can afford to do; that’s not Alex’s fault. He misses out on so many things because of complex circumstances he has nothing to do with. I don’t want this to become one more of those missed opportunities. To let Alex know he’s supported and loved means the world to me.  By sending him to camp, he’ll know his academic achievements are something to be celebrated. Camp starts Monday. Please help me pay the balance for him to go by sharing my post, donating anything, even $5, which will help! I appreciate you all!!
