We are the constitution for the regeneration of Daisy Nook, and many of our followers will have seen some of the fantastic work by the Community Pay Back team in the area already. We have a long term goal to re-instate the cultural, historical and environmental issues that have declined over the years in Daisy Nook but some of the work required will involve specialist contractors to complete.

One area in particular is the complete refurbishment of the pathway through Boodle Wood located from the ponds to the River Medlock which will include a new path formed to replace the now lost path. Contractors are already quoting for the work, which look to be ranging into the £20k range to complete the works.

We have decided that we will initially look at donations in order to provide enough adequate funds to sign off a contractor this summer to complete this work, as realistically getting this funding in a traditional method may take 18 months to realise.
