We have created this GoFundMe to help out our dear friend Steven Aird and his beautiful wife Lisa to meet the financial difficulties they face with the life-saving medical treatment Steve needs. 

Steve is one of the most caring, genuine, and loyal friends we have, and his dedication to his friends, family, and community is inspiring. 

Steve was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, which came as a huge surprise as only 1 in 1,000 men suffer from this disease. 

Having just started his own business, Steve and Lisa were fortunate to hold off on surgery until now (January) in order to get insurance. However, even with insurance, their out of pocket will be close to $30,000 - this includes deductibles, premiums, and out of network costs. 

Steve and Lisa would truly appreciate any help (and prayers!) you could give them as they get through this incredibly stressful and difficult time. The family are currently funding treatments and care themselves with savings but the road ahead is costly.

They have expressly asked that you only donate what you can afford. Any donation, however small, will go towards Steve's treatment costs.
