As some of you may know, Scott was diagnosed with ALS  (often referred to as Lou Gehrig disease) on Christmas Eve.  While this remains as a tragic announcement, Scott and his family are resolved to doing everything possible.  
Scott has been accepted and enrolled in an advanced clinical trial at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN.  This treatment process will proceed over the next year, and has been successful in combating this disease.  There will be multiple trips required, and many will necessitate an overnight stay.  The consequence to this latest medical advancement is the reality of expense.
Many of Scott's friends have already inquired as to how to help him and his family; while still respecting and understanding their need for privacy.
