FRIENDS FOR ROMANIA WINTER 2025

Hi, my name is Caoimhe McPartland, and I am currently in Year 13 at St Louis Grammar School, Ballymena.

In February 2025 I will be travelling to the Transylvania region of Romania with a group of my fellow students from St Louis to deliver necessities and other materials to several institutions throughout our stay. The charity, ‘Friends For Romania’ aims to tackle relieving poverty for the most vulnerable members of our society, and my goal is to raise over £600 to use to purchase basic living needs for several children’s homes and help centres.

I am extremely grateful that I’ve received this opportunity and I will do my best to attempt to improve the quality of those living in disadvantaged areas. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
