Our dear friend Kate Church is a unique visual artist whose skillful,  distinctive, fanciful art emerges naturally through a variety of processes and forms.  Over the years, she has worked incredibly hard  to make a living from her art.  Now she has breast cancer. Taking treatment means she is unable to travel to teach her spring and summer courses, the income from which usually sustains her for much of the year.

Artists don’t have pensions, or sick leave pay, or company health insurance.  But they make our communities more beautiful, more vital, more inviting, and our lives richer.

Kate has taught and  inspired many and made countless people happy when they are fortunate enough to own one of her ingenious pieces., She  is loving and generous to everyone she meets.  Now is the chance for us to give to her.  We can be her “health insurance.”
