Friends for Joslyn

We have created this GoFundMe to help out our dear friend Joslyn Head, her husband Tom and their beautiful son Hudson (who’s three years old).
Joslyn is one of the most caring, loving, sweet and genuine friends we have. Her family is her number one priority and her love of life, grace and joy has always been truly inspiring.
Joslyn and her family had been thriving until June 2020 when, suddenly and unexpectedly, it all came to a halt. After suffering from an agonising migraine, Joslyn was hospitalised and after several scans was told she has a Glioblastoma, grade 4 (the worst, most aggressive, technically incurable) brain cancer. Surgery in the UK isn’t really an option as the tumour is multifocal (not in one lump), in a tricky place, and relatively large. Chemo and radiation are the plan and have started immediately. Tom and Joslyn are also pursuing complementary therapies after reviewing the latest research and clinical trial data to sit alongside the western medical approach.
On average, someone with a similar diagnosis has a 15 months survival rate. However Joslyn has still a lot to live for…especially her husband, Tom, and their beloved son Hudson.
We, her group of friends, have lots of love and we will fight with her. We are determined to support her through his journey by making sure her family is financially assisted during these challenging times - Joslyn is not able to work due to fatigue and finding writing difficult. The aim is to allow her to live as well as possible for as long as possible and therefore explore every available avenue for treatment.
The family are currently funding treatments and care themselves with savings but the road ahead is uncertain and costly. They have expressly asked that you only donate what you can afford. Any donation, however small, will go towards her treatment and wellbeing.
