My co-worker and friend Sandro Arias is experiencing the pain of every parents worst fear.  His son Cory Arias was badly injured while out of the country on holiday .  Sandro has been working with our company, Appliance City for over 15 years and is one of most generous people I have ever known.  He has always gone out of his way to help others in any way he can and it breaks my heart to see him in a position of such helplessness.


On Wednesday, June 3rd while Cory was on holiday with family in Mexico he suffered a horrific injury.  While helping out with a painting project he was electrocuted by a low hanging utility line.  His injuries include 2nd and 3rd degree burns to 90% of his body and  requires immediate extensive treatment.

At this time his family is making arrangements for medical transport from Mexico back home to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. 

The funds from this page are needed ASAP as the cost for transport is not covered under insurance and the facility he is in now is not equipped to treat his severe injuries.  The funds raised will be needed for not only the transportation but also the future medical bills that will quickly escalate.
